Hercules has been with us since he was a puppy so has grown up with goats at Iris Acres. He is a big boy and still very much in the puppy phase. He is a sweet boy who love his humans and show great potential as a guardian dog. He is also very bonded to our 6 year old GP Chops. He has matured so much under her guidance. We love Hercules so much and I can't imagine our farm without him.

I like to think acquiring Chops is the equivalent of hitting the LGD lottery. She came to our family in February of 2021. She was previously a successful working dog on a farm is Bastrop with over 60 goats. Her humans were retiring and selling their farm and we were lucky enough to be chosen as her new family. Chops had never been around kids before so we knew that might be a challenge early on. She surprised us (ad her previous owner) with how quickly she took to our two kids. She exemplifies everything you could possibly want in an LGD. She is incredibly loving to her humans and a trustworthy protector of her goats. She has also served as a wonderful mentor to Hercules. We are beyond lucky to have her and she is teaching us all so much!
